The initiative is part of the Hull CLLD City wide scheme, driven locally by Probe for people from eligible East Hull postcodes.

The Forward to Work programme is centred around you, offering a bespoke service geared around your needs to get into work or to progress further in your career. With Probe, it’s all about giving you the tools to better yourself. We can support individuals with everything from CV writing, training courses, mentoring and work experience to help you succeed in gaining that first step or climbing higher in your working life.

Probes’ Forward to Work programme is delivered as part of CLLD in Hull

CLLD puts people living in four Hull communities; West Hull & Central, East Hull, North Hull & Orchard Park and Bransholme, at the heart of identifying the needs and challenges it is faced with and considering what projects and activities can help to manage them.

CLLD in Hull is coordinated by a Local Action Group (LAG) to provide grants on a matched funded basis to businesses, voluntary organisations and community sector groups to provide help and support in the following:

• Targeted training in key work related skills
• Making it easier to find and access work
• Growing integrated community hubs
• Supporting local and community businesses
• Joining up support to increase household incomes
• CLLD will support people that are of working age (16 years or older), unemployed, under-employed, or inactive in the labour market.
