Building Better Opportunities (BBO) is for you if you are aged over 25 years, and are not active in the labour market at the moment for whatever reason.
You may have physical or mental illness, disability, caring responsibilities, parental responsibilities for pre-school children - or there may be some other reason why you are not working right now.
We will help you to build your confidence and prepare for the time when you are ready to return to work, through one-to-one mentoring, informal group workshops, and opportunities for building your skills and experience.
All activities are designed to meet your needs as an individual, are voluntary and will be agreed between yourself and your advisor.
Building Better Opportunities is funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund through Humberside Learning Consortium (HLC).
If you are aged 16+ and have had long term difficulties finding work, maybe because you currently don’t have the right skills, or because of your personal circumstances or situation, In to Work is a new, tailored programme designed to help you secure a role and succeed at work.
Dedicated Work Advisors work with you to provide the right support, at the right time, to assist you to secure a role and succeed at work.
Together with your dedicated advisor, you will develop a personalised action plan and identify the steps to assist you to achieve your work goals.
We will support you to choose a realistic job goal, assist with job search and applications, and prepare you for a successful interview.
Once you move In to Work we will continue to support you during your first six months.
The In to Work programme is funded by the European Social Fund and the Department for Work and Pensions, and is delivered by Probe on behalf of MAXIMUS.
