Fantastic news - Probe has secured funding for 2025/26 so that we can continue all our existing services in our local community. Thanks to our hard-working team, our funders and our partners, Probe is still here to help.

As a not-for-profit organisation, with no core funding, we can never be complacent about finding the resources to keep supporting our community.

Fortunately we have a fantastic team of staff that work to a consistently high standard, and potential funders have confidence in our ability to deliver a great service. Meaning we’ve now been here for 29 years!

Employer support scheme

Our Exploring Employment project can help you take the risk out of recruiting new staff.

The initiative offers you up to 200 hours paid work trial with a candidate selected by you. It’s a simple procedure with very little paperwork, giving you and your prospective employee time to be sure that you’ve made the right choice before you commit to employing them.

There’s no catch – just a couple of conditions. Firstly you must have a real vacancy that you need to fill, and secondly the job candidate must live in a Hull postcode (HU1 to HU9). And that’s it!
