Part of the Our Bright Future initiative, the Youth in Nature project offers a comprehensive programme of wildlife related activity led by young people designed to inspire and educate.
Giving our young people, aged 11 to 24, opportunities to be involved in engaging with nature and to protect the environment by offering practical activities, getting outdoors, hands-on development of ‘wildlife zones’, days out and campaign tasks.
Youth in Nature hopes to leave a legacy of young people who are committed, informed and influential in issues relating to the natural environment, along with improved access to, and understanding of, nature and wildlife, and ‘wildlife zones’ that will enable both people and wildlife to thrive within our City.
Youth in Nature is a partnership led by Probe, along with Child Dynamix and the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, EMS and East Hull Community Farm, it aims to encourage young people aged 11 to 24 years to get involved in learning about, protecting, and improving their local environment.
