Four years ago, Probe developed a business plan to bring empty council properties back into use. Approval was gained from the Council and capital funds were raised to run a pilot project. A partnership with Hull College was established which proved highly successful in delivering training and savings in the refurbishment of 4 properties.
What does it do?
In August 2012, Probe secured funding to be used in the regeneration of 36 empty homes within the private sector. As a result of this, Probe and Hull College have extended their joint working agreement. We hope that by refurbishing and bringing houses back into use that we will improve neighbourhoods, provide training and create income to re-invest in Probe (Hull) Ltd.
